Week 10 was another week of surprises and close calls. The Guru Panel had it’s worst week of the year, hitting on only 67% of winners and dropping our season-long percentage to 77%. The esteemed panel looks to rebound in Week 11.

Like Week 10, Week 11 has a full slate of 33 games on tap including some key conference matchups in every Group of Five Conference. The action begins begins on Tuesday night with 3 MACtion games on tap. Western Michigan looks to rebound from their loss last week to Central Michigan when they host Akron. The panel sees the Broncos winning but failing to cover the 26 point spread. We see Miami (OH) handling Buffalo in a lower-scoring tight contest. In the final Tuesday night game we believe Eastern Michigan will win and cover against Ohio.

Wednesday night has three more MAC games beginning with Northern Illinois attempting to recover from its first conference loss when it hosts Central Michigan. The Huskies are 2.5 point underdogs, but we see them rebounding with a win over the Cardinals. In the second Wednesday game the Gurus see Central Michigan winning a tight scoring affair one over East-leading Kent State. In the final Wednesday game we see visiting Toledo moving closer to bowl eligibility win a win over Bowling Green.

On Friday the Guru Panel believes the Bearcats want to send a message to the CFP by winning and covering against South Florida. In other Friday action, the Panel sees Boise State handling Wyoming and covering.

Saturday features a bevy of key conference games in CUSA, AAC, MWC, and the Sunbelt. In CUSA action, The Guru Panel likes Marshall to win and cover against UAB in a game that will exceed the 54.5 point line. In another intriguing CUSA matchup, the Panel believes FAU will have just enough to get by ODU, but will fail to cover.

In a key MWC clash, the Guru Panel sees the San Diego State defense being too much for Nevada. The Panel believes the Aztecs win and cover in a low scoring matchup. In another key MWC match-up the Panel predicts Utah State will upset favored San Jose State in a low scoring affair at San Jose.

In a battle for third place in the AAC, our Panel believes SMU will right their ship by winning and covering against resurgent UCF. In another key AAC matchup for position in the conference, the panel goes with the upset and predicts East Carolina to win at Memphis in a shootout.

In Sunbelt action the Guru Panel believes Coastal Carolina, without Grayson McCall will have just enough to hold off Georgia State, but will fail to cover. In another game that could be tighter than expected, the Panel sees Louisiana handling Troy and covering the 7 point line.
